I have set up this instance of drupal for a number of reasons.
First, I have been itching to try out BlueHost for about 6 months, just to see how their services are. So far, I'm pretty happy.
Second, I needed a place to play around with drupal to see what it can do. I'm hoping to find a set of drupal mods and custom content types that will make drupal worthwhile for the average UD faculty member. I'm interested in seeing whether putting some of the types of tools I've been creating for years into a drupal setting will encourage faculty to make more use of them.
Finally, I'm hoping to inspire my son Kyle to become a drupal master so that he has a place to put his programming skills to work.
I guess there might actually be more reasons than that, but that will do for now.
