Most pages found at Drupal4Ed allow student comments. This creates a threaded discussion that is focused around the specific page being commented upon. Any student or faculty member can contribute a top-level comment to a page, or reply to an existing comment.
You should be aware that comments you contribute are public. Anyone visiting the site can READ all comments, even though guests can not contribute comments. You can add personal commentary to a page using the Notes feature, and you can add group-specific content if you are a member of a group. Group-specific comments are viewable only by members of the group.
