Educational Games
Let's face it. A game should ideally be something that you play when you want, where you want, for the sole purpose of having fun. There is something inherently contradictory about calling a game "educational". On the other hand, people DO learn while they play, whether they intend to or not. The goal of an educational game is to provide students an opportunity to have fun while they learn. This is accomplished by providing a game-like reward-structure to the process of interacting with course-specific content.
